Data protection and data security

The online store used here offers the option of creating a customer account as well as ordering as a guest. While data is stored online for customer accounts, no data is stored permanently in the store system for guest accounts. Information such as name, address, postal address and email address are stored during the ordering process - but this data is regularly and completely deleted for guests in the store within 2 months at the latest, so that no more of your data is stored online. Other data such as the IP address are not even stored in the database. In general, I strive for the greatest possible online data security and therefore delete as much as possible - even if this restricts or deactivates useful functions of the shop software.

However, order processing also requires the local storage of customer and invoice data, e.g. for invoicing. Invoice data including name and address remain stored in encrypted form for the duration of the tax retention obligation in Austria (currently 7 years) and are then deleted. Customer data (name, address, email) will be deleted after 3 years at the latest if no new orders are placed within this period (in this case the 3-year period starts again).

Although your email address is stored with the customer data (see above for deletion periods), you will not receive any unsolicited emails from me. However, you have the option of sending an email to info@anarchist-buttons.net at any time to request information about which of your data I have stored and you can request the deletion of your data - it will then be deleted within 14 days!

By the way: The entire store is SSL-encrypted - it's nobody's business what you look at here...

The store system used by Anarchist Buttons only uses session cookies. These are necessary for the shopping cart and order process (this is the only way the system knows that you have just added button XY to the shopping cart). Cookies can also store certain information, e.g. to be called up when you visit the site again and to facilitate the smooth functioning of the system. There is no tracking or profiling of your internet behavior and of course no data is passed on to third parties.

The following cookies are used in the store:

• cookie_test - This cookie checks whether your browser allows cookies to be set. It remains stored for 30 days
• XTCsid - This cookie is used for the checkout process in the shopping cart when you visit the store and is deleted when you close the browser

I do not use any analysis tools such as Google Analytics for my store that could create user profiles of my customers or visitors.

The following applies to everything: no data is passed on to third parties! You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority, Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.

As an alternative to placing an order via the online store, it is possible to send me a PGP-encrypted e-mail with an order (please state the item number, item name and price and do not forget the complete address and attach the PGP key).
